Travel Tip: Finding Starbucks When On the Road

As a native New Yorker, I’m used to seeing Starbucks on every street corner. But this morning, during a business trip near Dallas, I was having trouble finding a local Starbucks. And I didn’t have WiFi or GPS handy to lead me to the mother ship. Here’s how I solved my liquid panic attack.

Desperate for a caffeine kick, I started thinking about my options. That’s when an idea popped into my head: Find the nearest Target superstore … because they typically have a Starbucks mini-store inside.

Sure enough, the local strip mall had a Target. And a Starbucks inside. Success! Time to head back to WordCamp Dallas, where I’m learning a ton about best practices for blogging and search engine optimization.
