Who Is Nine Lives Media Inc.?

As we approach several company milestones, this is an ideal time to summarize our current business and some of our future directions.

First and foremost, Nine Lives Media Inc. is a fast-moving, highly energetic company that isn’t constrained by old media rules. We build highly targeted online destinations that go narrow and deep. We build and host events. We publish research. We shape new media markets, and we disrupt established markets.

Nine Lives Media Inc. will host its next online event at 2pm eastern today (Wednesday, June 25). Selling, producing and hosting online events a mere six months after launching a media company is no small feat. We’re fortunate to say loyal readership continues to grow across our three media sites (MSPmentor, The VAR Guy and Works With U). Those readers, in turn, are now signing up for our online events.

Of course, I’m over-simplifying our event strategy. I’ll share more about the strategy in a few weeks. But in the meantime, it’s time to prepare a bit more for today’s MSPmentor Live: CEO Exchange.

Today marks a critical inflection point for Nine Lives Media Inc., which is less than six months old. At 2pm eastern, we’re hosting MSPmentor Live: CEO Exchange, a webcast designed for aspiring and established managed services providers.

I’m tempted to hype our upcoming events (find details here). But since this is our business blog, I’ll focus on how we ramped up to host online events, and why we focus on long-term “business assets” rather than short-term “dollars and cents.” Frankly, we believe long-term vision can drive long-term and short-term revenue.
